Photography has been a part of Sophie’s life since she was a child. After gaining her BA (Hons) in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales, Sophie worked across a number of photography roles in London and Essex, including a rather graphic stint as a Medical Photographer at Basildon Hospital! Despite gathering some great experience, these roles weren’t quite ticking all of the boxes.
Sophie knew she wanted to aim high and create something a little bit different, so started her business in February 2016 offering an alternative approach to commercial photography for businesses! Fast-forward to the present day and Skip50 is continuing to grow year on year. With a team that Sophie is immensely proud of, she is continuing to push forward and has a clear vision for the future of her company.
WHY SHE LOVES IT:
Every day is different, there’s no ceiling on potential success and with every new client Sophie and her team learn something new.
SOPHIE’S PART IN THE TEAM:
Standing at a great height of 5 ft 2”, don’t expect to see Sophie when she’s tucked away behind her huge iMac, she is heard but rarely seen!
LOVES & HATES:
Sophie loves Tim Ferriss podcasts, Mellow Magic and fridge magnets. Her pet peeve is people who push on toilet doors to see if they’re unlocked.
